We are an assembly of Bible believing, Bible teaching Christians seeking to obediently worship and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. We would like to personally encourage you to visit our fellowship and consider making this your church home. We will try to make you feel more than welcome; we will try to make you feel like one of the family.

In our church, we fully believe that God is very much alive and has given us His eternal Word and His very own Son so we might have eternal life and know Him personally. Not only has God provided us the opportunity for salvation through the sacrifice of His Son on the cross, we believe God can meet all of our deepest needs. He stands with outstretched hands to receive all who trust Him, making room for Him in their hearts. We as a church also reach out to you in love desiring to help you in you spiritual walk.

Our Purpose

Jesus said:"All Authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them all things which I have commanded." Matthew 28:18-20.

The Lord Jesus Christ has given the church her purpose, which is twofold: 1. To share the good news of forgiveness and eternal life in Jesus Christ, and 2.To teach believers the full scope of what Jesus revealed through His written Word.

We at Orrington Center Church want to fulfill Christ's purpose by bringing His life changing Word to bear upon the lives of those about us. The Lord can provide salvation from the condemnation of our sin. The Lord can heal broken hearts. The Lord can fix broken homes and mend shattered lives. Our desire is to provide a God honoring fellowship that teaches His unchanging Word in a practical way so that people can grow in their faith and knowledge of the things of God.

In a time when the world is standing on the sands of confusion, our purpose is to ground lives upon the bedrock of God's eternal truth. In times of moral collapse, our purpose is to uphold the unchanging directives of a God who desires only our best. In times of selfishness and violence, our purpose is to call people to the service and peace of walking with God. In a time of hopelessness, our purpose is to point people to the living Christ, who alone is the source of hope and meaning.

Whether it is in Orrington or half way around the world, we at Orrington Center Church desire to be servants of Christ by helping others find a personal relationship with the living God through His Son Jesus Christ. We want to help you in your spiritual life
